What you actually do in an Excelrs internship
An Excelrs internship is a project, a score, and paperwork your college will accept — not a certificate PDF with no work behind it.

If you are a diploma or engineering student in Jharkhand, the internship is not optional. Your university wants a certificate so you can clear the semester. The real choice is which partner you submit. Excelrs Campus Program is the page that states what we actually deliver. This post is that page in student language. It is not a new program and it does not waive a fee.
Old internship URLs still work; they redirect to trainings. React, Node, Agentic AI, MCP winter, and the two diploma rows all live under /trainings/{id} now.
What you do, week to week
You do not watch a recorded course and download a PDF at the end. The campus page names the loop:
- Align. Your college and Excelrs agree the track, batch size, dates, and a short MoU.
- Kickoff. On campus or online. You start a real project from day one, with live and recorded mentoring.
- Build and get scored. Weekly tasks, reviews, mentor feedback. Each submission updates a public profile score on Excelrs.
- Certify. Completion letter, evaluation report, co-branded certificate. Stronger students can continue into paid work, the Dumka office, or a full-time seat.
That is the work. There is no hidden fifth step called “we print the certificate anyway.”
You don’t just finish a compliance internship. You finish with a validated profile, real hands-on work, and a shot at a full-time job — from the same team that runs the program.
The tracks that exist on the listing
Diploma, from the campus table:
| Year | Topic | Duration | Fee on the page | Training URL |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2nd | Basics of Python (AI-ready) | 4 months | ₹1,500 | /trainings/2nddiplomapythonInternship |
| 3rd | Gen AI / agentic AI internship | 4 months | ₹2,000 | /trainings/3rddiplomaAIInternship |
Degree reference tracks on the same page include HTML & CSS (~40 days), AI Agents with LangGraph (~42 days), a longer Gen AI capstone, and Career Launchpad in the final year. Summer 2026 LangGraph and HTML rows are still on /trainings as past batches. A first-year diploma “Intro to AI” link on the campus page is not in the live /trainings API as of 24 October 2026 — we will not invent that row here.
React, React Native, Node.js, and Agentic AI still have training URLs from the old internship twins. Their API dates are empty, so they may not show in Upcoming or Past on the list page. Open the URL if that is your track; do not assume a new batch from this article.
What “real project” means
A real project has a user who is not you, or a college requirement you can demonstrate.
Examples that have already shown up in Excelrs teaching: an attendance tracker a classmate can open; a Q&A bot on your PDF; an agent that calls one tool; a small web page a shop can share. The vibe-coding posts on this blog are the beginner version of that habit.
A fake project is a folder of untitled notebooks, a certificate with no URL, or a report that only restates Wikipedia.
You should leave with:
- A GitHub repo you can open in front of a viva panel.
- A link, when the track says deploy.
- A profile and a leaderboard rank on Excelrs, not only a JPEG of a certificate.
- The paperwork your T&P cell asked for: offer letter, evaluation, logbook when required, completion letter.

The paper is for the university file. The URL is what a mentor or a hiring engineer will open.
Dumka is part of the path, not a poster
Lawazia Tech’s Dumka office is where some batches do industrial visits, written rounds, and internship continuation. The campus page says eleven DEC students were interning there and ten-plus graduates were working full-time, from a partnership that started in 2022. Not every student is hired locally. Stronger people also go to client work through Spriny.
Hostel, meals, and local transport are listed as optional support for people who relocate. They are not a default perk of every online seat.
If you never come to Dumka, you can still finish an online or hybrid track. You still owe a project and a score.
Money, said once
Program fees on the campus page start at ₹1,000. The diploma and degree table above is the reference. Custom MoU pricing is for the college, not a private discount in a blog comment. Most seats are not stipend seats. Top performers can get paid continuation. This post does not make you a paid intern.
Do not confuse this with the US AI Agent Lab ($799 / $499). Different door, different currency, different certificate line.
What we will not pretend
The campus page is honest about the certificate: it is not AICTE-issued. It is accepted because colleges co-brand it and because the same company hires from the batch. If your university has a special form, that is a T&P conversation, not a paragraph we can invent here.
We also will not sit a second “online cert brand.” Excelrs is the name on the training certificate. That is enough.
How to start, depending on who you are
You are a student. Open the track URL that matches your year. Enrol there. If your college is running a batch, your T&P cell already has the MoU path.
You are a T&P officer or a principal. Use /campus-program. The next step on that page is a short call, then an MoU template and a sample evaluation pack.
You want AI agents and you are not in a college batch. Look at past LangGraph summers, MCP, or the Agent Lab. Do not call those an internship unless the listing says so.

Day one is a project, not a motivational lecture. If your first week has no task, ask why.
Checklist
- You know why the university wants a certificate, and why a project still matters.
- You can point at the diploma or degree row that matches you.
- You know internships on Excelrs now live under
/trainings/{id}. - You know the Dumka office is real and not guaranteed as a job.
- You did not quote a fee that is not on the campus or training page.
- You did not invent an AICTE stamp.
If you want the tool under an agent internship, read the MCP post. If you want the six-week evening version, read the Agent Lab post. If you want the first shipped app, the attendance-tracker guide is already live. The internship is the long version of that habit, with paperwork your college will file.
